🚩 FileWave Updater for Windows
We are thrilled to announce significant enhancements to the FileWave Client updater for Windows, ensuring more reliable upgrades even when Windows WMI is not functioning correctly. Key updates include the rewriting of several calls using PowerShell for improved reliability.
We strongly recommend that customers thoroughly test the new update Fileset before wide deployment to identify any potential edge cases. That said, client upgrades in production environments have already proven to work much more reliably with this updated Fileset!
(Also, please verify that your Antivirus software does not trigger alerts due to the change to PowerShell.)
